The three-story observation deck atop One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, is scheduled to open Spring 2015. Visitors will begin what Port Authority officials are calling an immersive, educational experience with interactive exhibits before they board the high-speed elevators for the ride up to the 100th floor.

The New York Wheel

The largest  Ferris wheel in the world, under construction now on Staten Island, is set to spin Labor Day 2016. In a 38-minute ride 630 feet above the ground, the year-round attraction will offer amazing views of the New York cityscape. Additional entertainment will include an indoor/outdoor sustainability expo, a nightly harbor light show, two 4-D theaters and an outdoor venue for music events. Visitors can walk to the site from the Staten Island Ferry.

Chassidic Discovery Walking Tour of  Crown Heights

A fascinating three-hour experience of an authentic Chassidic Jewish community includes a delicious kosher lunch, a tour of the Main Synagogue, stops at a Judaica and book store as well as other eateries and merchants. Participants will see a scribe writing a Torah scroll and visit a Matzoh bakery.

Tasting Tours

Special programs for groups that Calderazzo recommends include an eight-course tasting dinner at the Tenement Museum. Participants enhance their understanding of the immigrant story while learning about the history of various dishes and how these foods helped shape American cuisine. Other themed tasting experiences in New York City include Chelsea Market, Brooklyn pizza, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown and more.

Gardens in New York City

Calderazzo packages special, curated tours for gardeners that include visits to Wave Hill and the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, the Cloisters and other sites.
