Broadway Classroom – Up Close and Personal

Get ready to learn about all the trials and tribulations of being a Broadway performer and the road to success during this intimate one-hour session at the Broadway Classroom. You will get to sit down and talk to a Broadway performer you will later see onstage in a Broadway show. This will include their personal success stories, career moments and insight into life as a performer. This workshop includes a private performance from the artist just for the group.

New York’s Playground – Central Park

It’s a man-made wonder and the first public park in America where so many movies, TV shows and books were inspired.

  • Carriage Ride – What can be more iconic than a carriage ride in Central Park?  Pretend you are in a scene from one of your favorite movies or book.
  • Picnic – sitting along side the lake, or reservoir or in Sheep’s Meadow watching the love affair New Yorkers have with their park.
  • Rowboat – A romantic float with beautiful scenery, Bethesda Fountain and the NY Skyline!
  • Ice-Skate – The skyscrapers in the background, and a cup of hot chocolate, memories will be made.
  • Bike Ride – the streets are closed off to traffic as you ride past historic sites, beautiful scenery and rolling hills, with NY City as the backdrop!

High Tea

It’s the classic and elegant experience you cannot get just anywhere.  Whether it is at The Plaza Hotel (think Eloise), an Upper Eastside carriage house, or a hidden gem, this is a timeless  getaway that always impresses.

Garment District Shopping Tours

Visit the fashion center of NYC with racks of clothes sharing the sidewalks with fashionistas who are looking for fabrics and accessories. There are stores for buttons, trimmings, and showrooms where you can find deals at a fraction of the price on 5th Ave. Learn all about the Garment District and the apparel industry. See how the advent of mass production and the sewing machine, the development of “sizes,” the invention of synthetic fibers, and the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire impacted both the building of the current Garment District and the rise of unions in the industry. Visit iconic garment/fashion industry sites, including the Fashion Walk of Fame, and possibly showrooms and factories, depending on scheduling and group size.

Away From Broadway

Broadway shows are amazing, but NY City has other truly fantastic evening entertainment experiences. Jazz at Lincoln Center, several great jazz clubs, and Feinstein’s Below are just some of the time-tested group-friendly experiences.

Food Tours and Experiences

Take your taste-buds for a walk! Seriously, take their leash off and give them the freedom to sip, sniff, smell, and taste all the specialty foods that make New York City famous. For several hours, a guide will bring you to multiple places that are unique, highly regarded, and are like a roller coaster for your taste-buds. At the same time, learn about the history, culture, and architecture of the neighborhood.

Exclusive Museum Tours

New York City is well-known for their collection of world-famous museums like the American Museum of Natural History, MoMA, Guggenheim, etc. And with museums and historic places, it’s always better to get context and richness delivered in person by someone who specializes in it. Exclusive tours are available, led by specialists who are able to give in-depth narration, to make museum visits even more interesting.

Holiday Time!

It’s the most wonderful time…of course, we’re referring to New York’s version of Christmas, a magical time when the best New York attractions transform into the most festive winter wonderlands. You’ll find holiday markets in Bryant Park, Central Park, and Grand Central Terminal.  Of course you’ll see the Rockefeller Center tree, stroll past the Fifth Avenue stores elaborately decorated and then catch a performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
